14k Rose Gold and Diamond Wedding Ring.
This ring features a 1ct center stone, and 15 2mm diamonds on the chevron band. The bearer of this ring is a veterinarian and wanted paw prints on the band.
14k Gold with Reclaimed Black Sapphire and Diamonds
The client had ring from an old time in her life, and wished for it to be remade. She said she picked it up for cheap at an antique shop around 20 years ago, and believed the entire time that the stones were glass, and the band was either gold plated or not gold at all. After analyzing the ring, the stones turned out to be an 8x6mm Black Sapphire with 1.92mm diamonds, and the band was solid 14k Gold. The sapphire bore marks of its age with some scratches and even some chips, and rather than have the stone polished and cleaned up, she elected to keep the flaws, signifying its rise from the past into a new beginning.
14k Gold and Cherry Wood Inlay Wedding Pair.
These are made of Electrum, and the cherry was stabilized in house, then coated with a durable clear resin. This allows the cherry’s natural colors and grain structure to shine, making a very nice compliment to the electrum.
14k Electrum and Brushed Silver Aspen Inlay Wedding Set
These rings were for an outdoorsy pair, who wanted a wooden inlay to set their rings together as well as apart from others. The aspen burl inlay was stabilized first. The Electrum ring is 5mm wide with a 3mm Alexandrite mounted in the center. Both the ring and stone change color in different light sources, creating something truly unique. The silver ring is heat hardened with a brushed finish, with a 1mm line separating the two inlays.
Silver and Moissanite with Blackened Silver Wedding Set
This couple are avid D&D Players. The top ring is heat hardened silver paired with a 9mm (equivalent to a 3ct Diamond) Moissanite. The bottom ring was a surprise for the bearer who had said once or twice he wanted a ring with a fire enchantment. We translated “Wielder of the Flame” into Elder Futhark and etched it into the band. It was then blackened and given a light buffing.
14k Blackened Electrum and Alexandrite Cabochon Engagement Ring
The Alexandrite for this ring was an heirloom handed down from a relative who had originally obtained it sometime in the 1880s. To that end, we based the ring shape on another vintage piece, but added the rose, which turns into Celtic knots on the other side. This was a challenging but very fun ring to make.
Sterling Silver Double Heart Anniversary Ring
What better way to commemorate many happy years together than with a custom heart ring?
Blackened Silver with Gold D20 Inlay Ring
Another avid D&D Player wanted something special. The band features a geometric design that accents the D20 on top, which was inlaid with 24k gold to really set the piece apart.
Aluminum Bronze Infinity Heart Ring
With the design being 15mm tall, and dominating the knuckle on this bearer’s hand, she wanted something that would keep its beauty while also being more affordable than gold. Aluminum Bronze won her over immediately, with its golden color and resistance to oxidation. This is 92% copper, and 8% aluminum and cleans up with normal copper polish, while not turning the wearer’s finger green.
Aluminum Bronze Sword Hilt and Pommel
In a collaboration with Peanut Knifeworks, we recreated Sokka’s Meteor Sword. Primarily, we provided the hilt and pommel, which were cast out of Aluminum Bronze, 92% copper, 8% Aluminum. The Lotus flower on the pommel was cut from pure copper sheet and brazed into place. The two metals will oxidize at different rates, creating a slight two tone effect.
